Human Resources Manager
HRM will oversee our staff and workflows to help continue providing excellent service to their clients. This position will have full accountability to develop, manage, and implement human resource programs and guidelines for recruitment, employee management and engagement, learning and development, and procedures and policies to fulfill both workflow needs and corporate requirements. This individual will have an understanding of applicable state laws and liability related to human resource functions. The HRA will achieve results by building high-performing teams, increasing operational effectiveness, maximizing on growth opportunities, having a strong hold on key organizational initiatives, and ensuring successful implementation in the practice.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the office with strong guidance and inspire teams to excel in areas of performance including client services, revenue growth, collections, and instill high level of self-accountability on a daily basis.
Provide continuous direction and support to direct reports and raise awareness on operational priorities such as productivity and scheduling workflows.
Help develop employees, and continuously build a healthy pipeline of future leaders.
Manage onboarding of new hires and assist in benefits setup and review.
Be able to work additional hours during peak seasonal operations.
Assist partners with ad hoc projects.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred or certificate similar to SHRM or HCRI.
Minimum five years' of relevant work experience working within a Certified Public Accounting firm or similar a professional group.
The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and interact with all levels of management and employees.
Detail-oriented, responsive, and service minded mentality a must.
Strong team player.
Excellent interpersonal communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Must be familiar with recruitment tools such as online recruiting sites, LinkedIn Recruiter, Glassdoor, and Indeed.
Experience working with employees and managers at all levels of an organization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
