Administrator / Tax Processor

We are looking for an Administrator / Tax Processor with a strong attention to detail when performing processing functions, as well as good adaptability to new processes. They will process tax returns, coordinate billing, and provide administrative assistance to the firm as directed by the management.


Key Objectives:


  • Process tax returns, heavy due dates being in March and April but continuous processing yearlong with the different fiscal year-ends.

  • Provide administrative support as required by management, Partners and staff.

  • Answer incoming phone calls, as needed, assist in making / maintaining appointments, and respond to internal and external emails.

  • Retain documents as necessary through scanning, copying, and utilizing internal retention document resources.

  • Generate invoices for partners according to Firm’s billing policy for Partners and staff.

  • Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with management, peers, or subordinates


Requirements:


  • Advanced proficiency in all firm’s tax processing programs, Microsoft Office products. Experience with TR UltraTax is a plus.

  • Strong organization and detail orientation skills

  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines

  • Team oriented to accomplish project work

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong work ethic

  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and flexibility


Experience:


  • Minimum 5 years in office setting


Education:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience


Salary:


  • Starting at $60,000 (Commensurate with Experience)

Schedule:


  • Mon-Fri

  • Overtime Available
