Administrator / Tax Processor
We are looking for an Administrator / Tax Processor with a strong attention to detail when performing processing functions, as well as good adaptability to new processes. They will process tax returns, coordinate billing, and provide administrative assistance to the firm as directed by the management.
Key Objectives:
Process tax returns, heavy due dates being in March and April but continuous processing yearlong with the different fiscal year-ends.
Provide administrative support as required by management, Partners and staff.
Answer incoming phone calls, as needed, assist in making / maintaining appointments, and respond to internal and external emails.
Retain documents as necessary through scanning, copying, and utilizing internal retention document resources.
Generate invoices for partners according to Firm’s billing policy for Partners and staff.
Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards.
Communicate clearly and effectively with management, peers, or subordinates
Requirements:
Advanced proficiency in all firm’s tax processing programs, Microsoft Office products. Experience with TR UltraTax is a plus.
Strong organization and detail orientation skills
Ability to multi-task while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
Team oriented to accomplish project work
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong work ethic
High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and flexibility
Experience:

Duties and Responsibilities

Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred or certificate similar to SHRM or HCRI.
Minimum five years' of relevant work experience working within a Certified Public Accounting firm or similar a professional group.
The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and interact with all levels of management and employees.
Detail-oriented, responsive, and service minded mentality a must.
Strong team player.
Excellent interpersonal communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Must be familiar with recruitment tools such as online recruiting sites, LinkedIn Recruiter, Glassdoor, and Indeed.
Experience working with employees and managers at all levels of an organization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Generate invoices for partners according to Firm’s billing policy for Partners and staff.
Generate and provide monthly account receivable statements to Partners and staff.
Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and firm standards.
